Refund & Cancellation Policy

How to stop a pilot or subscription, what it costs, when money comes back, and what happens to your data afterwards.

Last updated 20 July 2026

01

Pilots

Pilots are scoped in writing before they begin — a defined DISCOM, a defined number of connections, and a defined period. You can end a pilot at any point without penalty.

  • Where a pilot is free of charge, ending it costs nothing and no refund arises.
  • Where a pilot is paid, unused prepaid time is refunded pro-rata if you end it early.
  • Ending a pilot stops all retrieval for the connections in scope.
02

Cancelling a subscription

You can cancel at any time by writing to us or through your account manager. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless you ask for it sooner.

  • Monthly plans: cancel any time before renewal; the current month runs to its end.
  • Annual plans: cancel any time; unused whole months are refunded pro-rata unless your order says otherwise.
  • We do not auto-charge after a cancellation is confirmed.
  • Volume charges already incurred for bills processed in the period remain payable.
03

When a refund applies

We refund in these situations:

  • We are unable to deliver the service materially as described, and cannot remedy it within a reasonable period.
  • You were billed in error, or charged after a confirmed cancellation.
  • Prepaid time remains unused on an annual plan you have cancelled.
  • A pilot you paid for ends early at your request.

Refunds are not generally available for:

  • Bills already retrieved, processed and delivered.
  • Downtime or delay caused by a DISCOM portal being unavailable, changing its layout, or resetting credentials — these are outside our control.
  • Suspension or termination caused by a breach of the Terms, including submitting connections without a valid authorization.
Processing time
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method, normally within 7–10 business days of approval.
04

What happens to your data

  • On cancellation we stop all retrieval for your connections.
  • You can export your bills and extracted data for 30 days after the effective date.
  • After that window we delete or anonymise your data as set out in the Privacy Policy.
  • Portal credentials are removed from active processing immediately on cancellation.
  • Minimal authorization audit records are retained, because we must be able to evidence the basis for past access.
05

How to request

Send cancellation and refund requests from the email address registered on the account, to hello@litebill.in, including your organisation code and the reason. Existing clients can also raise it as a ticket inside the portal for a tracked, two-way thread.

We acknowledge requests within one business day and confirm the outcome in writing.
